I shall miss her greatly. I regret that I allowed my recent move to Utah to delay learning of her recent passing. Thinking things were too quiet back in Texas I tried to called her. Hearing that her number was no longer valid led me down the investigative trail from whence I learned of her passing.

She was a true and good friend. I could always count on her for an uplifting word when I was down and a hug when I was lonely. She was always generous in her encouragement and guidance. That she was a gifted photographer there is no doubt. I have always admired her work.

Be at peace, Lindy. I shall never ever forget you.

I am so saddened to learn of Lindy's passing. Our prayers go to you, her family, as she was such a special lady. She was beautiful both inside and out.

Lindy and her son photographed our wedding 17 years ago. She and I stayed friends throughout the years. Although we had limited opportunity to visit with her in person, she and I spoke on the phone every few months. She always understood my busy schedule, loved to hear about the boys and enjoyed sharing stories about our animals.

Lindy was an amazing photographer. I have not only our engagement and wedding photos, but also various other pictures (individual, the baby pictures and then our boys as they were growing up.) She had the ability to work on negatives like no one I've ever seen. Fortunately, we have her art to keep her close.

May you rest in peace now Lindy. We love you and will miss you.

"The silent tears that each must shed,
Like rain upon the ground,
Will nourish all the love for her,
Which did in life abound...
And now she rests in peaceful sleep,
Her rich rewards are won."
(a quote from another friend)

Much love, Emily, Pat, Patrick and Shane McKenney, Fort Worth, Texas

I am so sorry to learn of Lindy's passing last month. Please know that you are in our prayers during this time of loss and sorrow.
Lindy was married to my brother John, until his death in 1999. I didn't see much of them over the years, living in Boston and then Iowa, but their love for one another came through the phone calls and letters loud and clear.
Lindy was such a caring and loving person. After the birth of our daughter she sent a beautiful sepia photograph in a lovely antique-looking wood frame. She'd made the picture from a small printed birth announcement that we'd sent. Her talent was amazing. That photograph along with one of Lindy and John have been hanging here in the den for 19 years. We'll always remember her through these photographs.
I pray that your mother's photographs and memories bring you comfort and strength.

"Deep peace of the quiet earth to you;
deep peace to you"
(from an Irish blessing)

I am so saddend to here of Lindy's passing. Through the phone, she and I had forged a friendship, we made each other laugh and I played music for her as she enjoyed it so much. The gang here at WRR will really miss her. I know she and her kitty are together again and they are sitting under a beautiful tree enjoying a classical concert featuring Mozart himself. "Death is the starlit strip between communion and reunion" (Mark Twain) Love to you all, Tempie Lindsey

No matter how old we are,
Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know,
But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on,
Like a legacy of love that will always be with you.
We will miss you.

Chris, Tony, Gregg and Kids,
I just learned of Lindy's passing today, and I am so sorry. I had tried to call her on Weds to see if you all were getting that bad weather and never got an answer. Being up in Massachusetts, I always kept an eye on the Texas weather as she did for here as well. We kept in touch on a monthly basis and I enjoyed her great attitude and strong spirit. John was my close cousin and they truly had a great love for each other and I know they are reunited again. Please express to all my deepest sympathy, she was a special Lady and will be greatly missed.

To all of Lindy's family, I am saddened by the loss of such a great artist.
Although we had lost contact in the last few years, Lindy and I had been friends for over 35 years.
She was an exceptional retoucher and print finisher who made many of my professional collegues and I look good!
Professional photography has lost one of it's own.

May God richly bless you with wonderful memories of Lindy!

Yours in Christ!
