To Lisa's family,
I met Lisa when I was 13 years old at Hutcheson Jr. High and we stayed friends through Jr High. and had the occasional howdy through high school. Lisa had the biggest heart of just about anyone I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She was my friend when many had written me off as a lost cause encouraging me during rough times as a youngster. I would often dread coming to school but seeing her and her beautiful smile brightened my day like nothing else could and made everything else seem trivial. No matter how bad my day was, a hug from her, changed everything. It broke my heart to hear of her passing and I cried for a friend that I had not seen in years. It was an honor to know such a wonderful person but I know God is taking care of her now. To Mr. Cash, I know you know this already but you married an angel; an angel who is waiting for you in heaven. I am so sorry for your loss.

To Lisa's family:
I have no idea if you are still checking this guest book. I just found out this morning (11/14/11) about Lisa's passing. I saw an entry in the UTA periodical I receive at my home. I went to school with Lisa but where I knew her best was when we worked together as tellers at Riverside National Bank. I never knew Lisa to have a bad day. She was ALWAYS smiling and treated everyone with such kindness. I learned a great deal from her. She always made us laugh. We spent many hours in those teller windows talking about boys, clothes, sorority functions, boys (again) and anything else we could think of. We would race to see who could work the most teller tubes in the shortest amount of time. I think Lisa always won. Such fun. Thomas...I am sure you are someone very special. Lisa wouldn't have settled for less. I will pray for you as you cope with the loss of such a beautiful soulmate. Gary and Kenna Kay...my deepest sympathies. I will pray for you and the whole family. I am stunned. But, I know Lisa is with her Savior. She was never shy about that. Lisa will be deeply missed on this earth.

Lisa was one of my Tri Delta Sisters. I loved her laughter, her heart and how she could stick with a sister through thick and thin. She will be missed, but knowing Lisa, she has touched and changed may lives...even with just her smile she could warm the heart of a stranger. Delta Love, Jesica

FOR LISA
Jubilant thoughts of remembrance from our friendship
and times shared. Enjoying fun filled beach walks and runs in the water, to horseback riding. Also the many hours
solving of the jigsaw puzzles at the condo. The pure delight of sharing the stuffed mushroom recipe along with the
engaged conversations of gifted moments of student
intervention in her classroom. Now on the wings of Angels into the embracing arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lisa’s eternal journey will surely encompass the teaching and guidance of future souls accepting their journey of humility, pain, and suffering along with the enlightening joys and wonders as to the blessings and the amazing grace which she bore while here on earth.
WE WILL SURELY MISS YOU LISA !!
TILL WE MEET AGAIN
With love always,
Bobby and Martha Godlewski

I worked with Lisa at Garcia Elementary in GP. She had a big heart for kids and was a great teacher. Sad to hear of her passing, but glad she is in a better place--with Jesus. May the blessings of God be on the family and bring them peace.

I spent part of my early childhood with Lisa, growing up in the same neighborhood in Arlington, Texas. We hung out together almost daily, and attended Amos Elementary together. We lost touch many years ago when my family moved away. I have been trying to reconnect with her for many years, but never could find her. I unfortunately got this sad news today from my father who still lives in Texas. There is so much I wanted to share with Lisa and am saddened at her passing. She is at peace now. God Bless her and her family.
