Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at River Oaks Baptist Church, 1515 Long Ave., Dr. Jim Lemons and the Rev. Ron Gunter officiating. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Lorena was born March 17, 1920, in Cleburne. She was a longtime member of River Oaks Baptist Church. Lorena served many years as a Sunday school teacher for children, older ladies as well, and as church hostess. She was well-known in the Fort Worth area as an antique dealer and appraiser. She had antique businesses in Fort Worth, Arlington, Azle, River Oaks and Lake Worth.
Survivors: Husband of 65 years, Thomas Day; daughter, Carolyn O'Rourke; granddaughter, Shelly Sube; grandson, McShane O'Rourke and wife, Amber; great-grandchildren, Michael and Lacie Sube; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
