Mallory Evans Obituary

Mallory Anne Evans, 15, a fun-loving, kind, endearing daughter, sister and aunt, loved life and loved everyone she met! She was received along with her mother, Jami Diane, by our Lord the morning of Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish Aledo, 16250 Old Weatherford Road, Aledo 76008. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Prayer service: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish of Aledo. Mallory lived and cherished her faith every day! She was in the ninth grade and was homeschooled by her loving mother, Jami Diane Evans. She enjoyed playing all sports and was the life of the party no matter where she was or who she was with. Mallory simply adored her family and loved spending time with each one of them. She especially loved playing with her nephew, Connor, whom she called her "Little Sunshine"; sushi and yogurt dates with her sisters and conducting highs and lows conversations while at family dinners. Mallory loved singing, dancing, and being goofy in the car with her sister, Audrey. Mallory was a dreamer and often shared her aspirations and pure love of life with her sister, Emily. And she loved driving through the neighborhood on the golf cart with her brother, Jake, and her cousins. She loved her best friend, Carissa, dearly and shared many sleepovers and making home videos together. Fun playful times were also shared with her dear friends, Mckenzie and Annie. Mallory had a special gift for living life to the fullest. Mallory was the entertainer who made us all smile, the caretaker who reached out to us all and helped us all recognize simple joys in life. Mallory loved hugs! She would hug anyone! She always found the good in everything and in everyone, she was the sunshine in our lives and had such a strong conviction to our Heavenly Father in everything she did. Mallory brought love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faithfulness to those around her. And the one thing that we will all cherish and remember the most are the three simple words that she would always leave us with: "I love you," she would say. Well Mallory, We love you and celebrate with great gratitude your life with Christ! Mallory will be remembered by her family: father, Darryl; sisters, Emily and Audrey; brother, Jake; nephew, Connor; great- grandmothers, Ellen and Josephine; grandparents, Jim, Diane, Larry and Shirley; uncles, Philip, Scott and Mark; aunts, Michelle, Angie and Tracy; cousins, Parker, Pierce, Mia, Stellamae, Tristan, Ethan and Evan.

None know in which hour we shall cross over to our Heavenly Father. I don't know these two children of our Heavenly Father, but I'm happy to know that they were children of God, and that they now reside in Heaven with Our Father & his Holy Son Jesus.

Prayerfully yours in Christ,
A fellow believer!

Mallory I never got to meet you, but you seem like an absolute joy to be around. That is, perhaps, why our Lord wanted you as one of his special angels right now. To Mallory's family, you will see her again. Know that she is in the loving arms of Jesus forever. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mallory, I wish I had the opportunity to know you as a young lady. I knew you as a 5 year old child. You were a beautiful child and I'm sure a young lady with a beautiful spirit. Your mother was also a beautiful woman with a kind heart. She will forever be remembered by my daughter and I. My heart goes out to your family.
