It has been one year since you've been gone. It hasn't been easy, but we all seemed to have managed. I try to focus on the times we spent together. The lunches we shared, the zoo trip with the kids, and the words of encouragement you always gave. They will be with me this day as I remember and always in my heart. Love, Amy

Your Loving Family

November 28, 2002

On this Thanksgiving Day, as we join hands, we will give thanks for the short time you spent with us. The memories will always linger of that little boy who grew up to become a father himself. You are safely home in Heaven now, and all of your pain and grief is over. Until we meet again we must pray to trust our Fathers's will.

Michael, There are no words to express the sorrow I feel on this day. Never in my wildest imagination did I expect to have so few anniversaries together. This day is still and will always be one of the most important in my life. As I look back on the years we've shared I know they were the happiest for both of us. I miss you and I love you always, Robbin

There is no death just change and like a brightly colored catepillar Mike has been freed from his cocoon and is floating on the gentle breeze of immortality, as a monarch floats on an evening breeze, guided by the soothing light of the creator.

Michael Steven Quillin 1953-2002,The part in the middle of those years is the dash, Michael's dash through life was short. Facing his own mortality he courageously set out to take care of his wife and minor children and tried to make peace with everyone, and succeeded at both these. I cry as I write this just as I did when I laid him in the grave. My brother is gone. I love him very much and am fortunate to have him as a part of my dash through life. James E. Quillin
