Morgan Moss Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Boyd.
Burial: Azleland Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Morgan was born Aug. 26, 1992, in Fort Worth to Scott and Lisa Moss. She was to be a sophomore this year at Richland High School and was an "A" student throughout her school years. She was a member of the National Honer Society, Dixie Belles drill team and choir, and ran track. Morgan was sent to this Earth to make a difference and she lived out her life that way to the fullest. She loves her family and friends and always stood by their side through the good and bad. Her values were to love and to bring a smile to everyone's face.
"The righteous are taken early so they do not have to suffer the woes of this world." Isaiah 57:1-2.
Morgan was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Wayne Harris; grandfather, Wayne Moss; and brother, Kenneth Peebles.
Survivors: Parents, Scott Moss and Lisa Moss; brother and his wife and son, Russell, Brandi and Brylan Peebles; sister, Amanda Dovers; grandparents, June Moss and Zane and Bernice Gray; great-grandmothers, Patsy Harris and Brigitte Harris; special friends, Dale and Sindy Peebles, Steve Hovis, Carolyn Pingry, Lynn and Lauren Connley, Pricilla Hatcher and family and Paige Owens; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Scott, Lisa, Mandy and Russell,
I just found out yesterday about Morgan and I am still trying to put my hands around this. I am sorry I haven't been in contact since we moved out of town, but we are back now and I want to give you all a big hug. I was just talking to Judy about ya'll last week and how fun it was living next door to ya'll on Haltom Rd. I remember when Morgan was born, so beautiful and what a lucky little girl to be born into a family that worshiped and adorded her. I can't stop thinking about all the cute things Morgan did when she was little. I remember one time when I was working in the flower beds and I was really thinking hard, feeling sorry for myself being a single mom of 3 kind of all wrapped up into myself at that moment. Then all of the sudden someone thru a hand full of dirt on my head. I looked up and it was Morgan looking at me with that big smile and laughing. It was so funny guess she knew I needed someone to knock me up side the head. I keep thinking of Morgan and Joe Joe riding in that little 4-wheeler in the back yard. I keep thinking of the way Scott called her sometimes "Liz A Beth" it was so cute. No one can take away your memories of her and you have some wonderful memories to look back on. I love you all and I am truly sorry for what you are going thru.

Dear Moss family,
However I did not know Morgan for very long. I felt like I have known her my whole life. I sat next to her in World Geography class and between the two of us we could make just about anyone laugh. I will remember her always smiling even on days she was having a bad day and she would make me laugh so hard and brighten my day. She is such a kind and giving person as well as "always right". She told it like it was even if I didn't want to hear it and of course she would be right. She was taken so soon, but I know deep in my heart she will be forever with us in spirit and we are lucky to have an Angel watching over us. I will miss you Morgan, see you soon.

Morgan was like the sister i never had growing up. taking baths together since we were 3&&5 until we reached around 11&&13. so many memories. it keeps me going to know that she is a beautiful angel now and looking down on us everyday. i will remember my most precious best friend for the rest of my life.

I did not know Morgan personally,but have heard so much about her from Maycie (my son is dating her). I wish there was something I could do to "fix this",
but I can't do anything,except pray,and be there for everyone effected by this tragedy.

I had the great priveledge of knowing Morgan this past year as her freshman english teacher. She was one of the sharpest students that I've ever taught and was someone who always had a smile on her face. If a fellow classmate or friend seemed down or just mellow, Morgan was right there with a joke or words of encouragement.
