Nell Gilbert Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Garden Chapel. Burial: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Bluff Dale. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Nell was born Jan. 30, 1941, in Azle. She was a licensed LVN and was employed for many years at All Saints Hospital. Most recently she was a private duty nurse.
Nell loved to travel. Her favorite destinations were the Grand Canyon and Colorado.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to all the caring people at Vitas Hospice.
Nell was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Huckabee; father, Earl Huckabee; brother, Roy P. Bennett; sister, Earlene Weatherly; brother-in-law, Raymond Weatherly; grandson, David Shane Perez.
Survivors: Daughters, Terry Stotts of Saginaw and Tammy Sides of Fort Worth; sons, Darren Riding of Livingston and Ronald Riding and wife, Julie of Austin; sister, Norma Wilkerson of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Edith Bennett; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and loving cousins.

Nell and I attended high school together and we corresponded with each other over the last year and a bit. I'll remember her beauty and her smile. She will be missed. Nancy (Wadsworth) Noyce, class of '59-Diamond Hill Jarvis

Dear Norma:
I have been thinking about you, and I know that Nell is now better off, she no longer has to suffer through any pain or exhaustion. I know that you will miss her, and I know how hard it has been for you. But the time you got to share will forever be treasured in your heart, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and Nell's children. God Bless all of you through this sorrow.
