I am said to hear of her passing. She treated me with such kindness and compassion despite my annoying youthful personality. Patsy and Willie actually took me on my first ever vacation, which was to the beach, not far from my home here on Padre island. They also took me to my first vacation to the mountains, which was to crested butte/gunnison to go fly fishing. It was amazing. Of course they always paid for everything. I remember one time she called me to come for dinner even though her children (my friends) were not there (and fed me quite often). She treated me as one of her own and her southern charm and slight accent was amazing. I loved the way she said Port Aurthur and I still think of her often. I rejoice that she is reaping her well deserved reward in heaven.
