I just learned that Dr Saperstein had passed. I shared so many wonderful times with him doing anesthesia in the OR, meeting for coffee at Starbuck's, and in the office as my PCP. The world is a sadder place now. His humor, mentorship, and teaching were the best. I will miss my friend.

He was my clinical medicine professor during my first and second years at TCOM from 2014-2016. His kindness, humor, and wisdom will not be forgotten. He taught us so much. Very saddened by this news.

I was a care taker for Doctor Saperstein at Trinity Terrace and I remember every joke, every laugh, and every connection we shared. He was a mentor but more than that he was my dearest friend. As we all, I wish I had more time with him. When I left Trinity Terrace I told him that I would never forget him because he pushed me to do better for myself and spoke to me like a true friend. I hope he held my note dear to his heart because I meant every word. He was my friend, and while I wish I was able to see him one last time, I know that his family was there for him in his final moments. I loved him so much for his charming personality and his open mindedness. He is missed dearly.

Dr. Saperstein was a wonderful man and physician. I rotated on his family practice service as a TCOM student in 1978. Great teacher! And what abundant energy. We have lost a great one!

Phil was always a pleasure and very funny. He had an infectious laugh. He was a brilliant and talented physician. He lived a full life. Nevertheless it is sad to hear he died. Even those who never knew him will miss him because he positively influenced so many people. RIP dear friend.

Saddened by this news...He taught me so much over the years. He was my personal physician when I was in junior & senior high school and university. He helped me to gain admission to KCCOM and obtain an internship at FWOH. He delivered my 2nd child in 1974. I was able to practice family medicine at his clinic and helped me
obtain a teaching position at TCOM....We played golf together many times at Glen Garden CC, where he was a member.....Will miss him greatly...He was my guiding spirit. "Love you Paul".....

This world lost a good man & excellent physician. Dr. Saperstein has known me all 49 years of my life. My father Dr. Gary Earp was in practice with him for a number of years. I have so many childhood memories of him spending time with my family. He is someone that I always admired & valued his opinion. He will be greatly missed. My family is saddened to hear of his passing, but appreciative of many terrific
memories!!!

Dr. Saperstein was a long time care giver to my parents, but he was also a great friend to them both! They both admired him not only for his medical advice but as a very respected man with integrity! He will be missed by so many!

George and family of Dr. Saperstein, I am so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Saperstein was such a kind and friendly presence while my mother was his neighbor on the second floor. And George, I will never forget how kind you have been to my mother, Joy Conway. I will really miss seeing you at Trinity Terrace. May his memory be a blessing to you all.
