I think of Bobby often, and remember the fun times we had growing up. Still missing him...

He used to wake me up by playing "Chicken Fat" sung by Robert Preston from some religious camp he attended as a youngster. So, even with a hangover, it made me laugh.

On old and snowy day in December 1962 or 3 Bobby and I tried to get Bob´s Jeep started so we went to my house and tried to start the Renault by pushing it up the hill on Ryan Place Drive then letting it roll down the hill and pop the clutch. Total waste of time, but we got a lot of walking done.

Today and everyday I am loving you Bobby. The chime in my garden is chiming in the wind. I know you are with me. The garden is bursting with colour and light. The black bamboo rustles. The smell of fresh rain is in the air. I'm smiling feeling you. Blessings on this day and your presence in my life.

No one but Bobby could make me laugh as he gently pushed my face down into a plate of mashed potatoes. Only he could get away with that! Even though I miss him so much, it brings me so much pleasure to remember our times together. Bless you, BB, and all BB-lovers.

To my favorite first cousin.....who I miss everyday!
It's about time to decorate for Christmas. I hope you're watching over me because without your divine intervention, pretty sure I won't do it according to your standards. You've always been so picky about proper placement of decorations after all. You even forbid me to help, limiting my participation to that of a silent observer. Which was why one of my greatest delights was to wait until you went to bed during my December visits, then move everything around - especially Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus.
You can still make me laugh! XOXOXO

Susan - I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I knew Bobby throughout all my years of public school but lost touch after we left high school. I have lots of fond memories of his humor and good nature. He called me "Buckwheat" since my maiden name was Buckley and I didn't mind because he had such a sweet spirit about it. I used to sell him my Hostess snowballs from my lunch for a nickel in grade school. And he was such the actor in our junior high school play "Cheaper by the Dozen"- he could really ham it up. Such a dear friend to all who knew him. His humor and kindness are missed by all who knew him.

Bobby always brought a smile to my face and was always fun and interesting to be around. Life was an adventure to him and anyone who knew him and was lucky enough to share his life. Although I didn't get to see him much in our adult lives I will never forget his beautiful smile and kind heart and the happiness he brought to everyone around him. Rest well, sweet Bobby!

To the man who helped me realize how important my love was, turned me on to Bridget Nielsen, interpreted Ionesco for me and made a savage an artist. Where do we go and how do we get there? Love, Pix and Cathy.
