I loved Rodney and Cheryl both. We were great friends who met for the first time, and for many years thereafter, at Randy and Jeanne Shoults' coffee shop on Arkansas Lane and at many parties at my house, Pipemaster Richardson and other fond friends. Rod and Cheryl were a beautiful couple, full of sparkle and wit. I miss them and will always cherish the times we spent together. For my son Erol and me, they were part of our Arlington family.

Such sad news! My husband and I bought several cars from Rod and we both loved his easy-going manner and sense of humor. He will be missed.

I really didn't know you much and was shock to see you on the obituary page of the newspaper. The few times we communicated ,I knew you were a nice and good guy. You rest in peace my friend. To your family ,may caring thoughts from others help you all through.
