I just called to make an appointment with Ruby and heard the news. My heart goes out to her family as the anniversary of her death approaches. Ruby did our taxes for more than 10 years. She was a wonderful, kind woman who was very proud of her family. It was an honor to have known her. She will be missed greatly!

I feel so lucky that I had the chance to visit with Ruby in early February. Lianna and I laughed and talked with her, and that day is a memory I'll always cherish. As a long time friend of Lianna and her family, Ruby holds a special place in my heart. She loved her family very much. Keep her warm smile, contagious laughter and spirit in your hearts.

I just called H&R Block to make my annual appointment with Ruby. My heart goes out to the family. Although you guys have never met me, I have met all of you through the many photos Ruby has shown me of her family over the past 7 years. She was so proud of all her children, grandchildren, and great-grands. Ruby was a terrific person, and I know you guys will miss her dearly. I grieve with ya'll, and pray that God will comfort your hearts.

Momma,
I don't even know what to say. There aren't any words to tell you how much I miss you. I have always said to everyone that you are a better mom than I will ever be and that is sooo true. You were always there for all of us. I don't know how you could remember so many things and take care of so many things. You were the ultimate multi-tasker.
You were the best advice-giver...you always knew what to do, what to say. I am so blessed that you were my mom. I miss you every second. I wanted to cook some ground meat, red beans and tomato sauce the other night and I couldn't remember how and I couldn't call to ask you. I should've been a better listener, like you. You were the best listener. Its so selfish but I just can't help thinking that I wasn't through talking to you yet. My children's lives are forever changed because of you. They have all said they miss being able to pick up the phone and just talk to their Nana. You were always there to tell us everything would be alright or help us figure it all out and laugh. We will miss your laugh and your smiling face. I know I am just jumping all over the place with words. I am not very good at emotional things. I wish I was more like you because you could always tell someone how you felt. My kids are so much better at words than I am and that must be because they are like you. Momma, I love you, and I miss you so much, but I know that all I have to do is just speak to you and the answers will come. You are in my heart and I want everyone to know what a wonderful mother you were. I am going to pass on everything I know about you so that everyone will know you and your legacy will keep on going through all those grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I love you momma, and thank you for ALL the things you've done for me all my life. Thank you for being MY mother.
Loving you forever, Lianna

Mom,
I cannot possibly tell you how much I miss you and LOVE you. You are the guiding force for so many people, still. I don't know how to go on without you. I need you to show me the way. I need you for so many reasons, and you know what all of them are about. You are my strength, my hope, my reason, and my guide through this life. For me to continue without you is SO-SO-SO hard. I miss and love you with every fiber of my being. I can't stop crying. You are my Mother, my world. If I ever achieved anything, it was having YOU for my Mother. Dad is missing you terribly, but I promise to you forever that I will do my best to take care of him. I cannot fill your shoes, my feet are so tiny. I will, however do my best. It rained on the day of your memorial, indeed the sky was mourning your loss from this earth. I shall mourn the same for the rest of my life. I love you, love you, love you. Forever your lost son, Keith

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how I feel about this amazing woman!!! If I am half as good of a mom and grandmother that she was, my children will be so blessed!! I can only hope to touch as many lives as she did. I miss her so much, but am so thankful for the time I had, my life is so much better for having known and loved her. I LOVE YOU NANA MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!!! I will do my best to pass on to my children, and everyone I know the things you taught me, the compassion you showed me and the love you gave me!!!

Love you always

My Nana was the best grandmother anyone could dream of. She was a great influence in my life, and my family's life. I miss her so much. I believe when someone is as special and loved as much as she was that they are always with you. My Nana is still here in spirit and always will be watching over her family. And taking care of all of us the way that she always did. Anyone that new her would tell you that she was an angel. Now she is watching over all of us from heaven. Especially my Papa. I'm still a bit selfish and wish that she was here with us... Nana I LOVE YOU. Thank you to all that, cared for her, she'll be waiting for us.

Dear Lianna, Robyn, Angela, Jason & Bradley, It is now approaching 6pm { almost time for services to begin }. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am so sorry to not be attending, but health issues as of today---are bleak. I have fond memories of having met Ruby and I know it will be a great loss for all of you. I ask that the Lord be with you all---------- I know you will keep her memories alive in your hearts. She was a very good parent and was always there for each of you, but now she will be taking care of you from Heaven. I know your Daddy { Pawpaw } will be lost without her---so please continue to check on him often. This has been a big shock to all, but with the love and support that your family has------I know you will pull together. Again my thoughts are there with you tonight as they have been all week since I received the news. Lianna---your mamma would be so proud of the job that you have done in helping taking care of all the plans. I love you and am so sorry that I am not there tonight. All my love to you all--- Darlene Foy

I first met Ruby what seems like many years ago. She basically gave me my first office job as a receptionist. I have since moved on and am now a financial manager for the home office of ProCuts. Working with and for her gave me the confidence I needed. For this I will always be grateful.

As a preparer of H&R Block, who has worked with Ruby in the past in the same district, became a part of her "company family"; we mourn her passing along with you. She was a brilliant, amazing person who will be greatly missed.
My prayers and thoughts are with you.

It was a great pleasure working with Ruby at H&R Block. She was always there with a smile and her energy was inspiring. She was helpful and kind to every one she helped. She will be greatly missed by co-workers and clients alike. Our office will never be the same without her inspiration and knowledge. It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences with her family and friends.
