Shirley Bean Obituary

Shirley Bean, 76, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Monday, March 17, 2014, at a local care center. Celebration of life: Noon Saturday at Sweet Home Baptist Church, 5225 Ramey. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: You may visit Mrs. Bean 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, with a wake 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Survivors: Her children, Sandra Shepherd, Sheron Nwachukwu (Paul), Brenda Shepherd-Jones, Marcus Bean (Alicia), Michael Bean, Mia Bean-Harper (Tony), Milton Bean (Aishia) and Marsha Bean; stepdaughters, Wanda Bean-Browder (Vonn), Vanessa Bean-Calloway; mentee/son, Thomas Carroll IV (Rosalind); and a host of other relatives and friends.
