Stan was such an AMAZING Husband, Father and friend! I'll never forget the night he was working on one of his cars and up crawled a king snake....Stan thought it would be funny to give it to this young girl (me) and tell me to show my mommy.....he stood back and laughed his butt off, as my mom freaked out and screamed. Stan you will be GREATLY missed! I know you are now hanging out with my parents, ya'll don't cause to much trouble in heaven!

Stan was the finest chief mechanic me and the Arlington Fire Department ever had. He treated the equipment like they were his own. Stan the Man will be missed.

I'm sad to hear of Stan's passing. He was a hard worker, an man of exceptional character and ethics, and wry humor. He was the best Fire Dept mechanic we ever had, to the point where our crew would often go to the shop to talk to him and help him work on our truck, even into the evening hours. When I was off duty I would take my Harley up to the shop and he would show me how to make repairs on it. I wish for comfort and peace for his family and friends.
