I am so sorry for the loss the Pickens family is going through. I didn't know Wendeel but went to school from 5th grade through 12th with his dad, Ricky.

I don't know how we are going to go on without you? I know we must but it will be so very hard. You were a wonderful, awesome, incredible family member & Firefighter/Paramedic. You always set a beautiful example of what a great, good, caring, loyal, honest, loving man should be. I was always so proud to have the most wonderful Nephew a Aunt could ever dream of. Really you were like a Son to me. I know you knew how very much I Love You. The pain is now over, no one has ever fought harder. We all prayed for a miracle, it so very sadly was not meant to be. As we embark on the days, weeks & months ahead I pray that your immediate family members can find the strength to go on. I know it will be so hard.
