Born in Columbus on November 20, 1927, he is the son of the late Harry Waibel and Elsie (Arnold) Waibel. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities and sporting events. Alfred will be remembered for his love of dogs, willingness to help his family and others, and his love for the Lord. In addition to his parents, Alfred is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Waibel, brother Carl Waibel and his sister Virginia Chenoweth. To my cousin Al, I know where your going and I pray you will save me a spot. It will be great to talk about all the things we did together many years ago. Probably won't be to long considering I am almost 91 years old. We can thank God for all the blessings we enjoyed when we probably were not worthy of a crumb from under his table. God be with you. M y deepest sympathy goes to your family and friends.

Al or as I called him growing up Brother Waibel was the most amazing man! I know he prayed for me all of the time, he told me! I will never forget all the precious memories of spending the night with Stacy and Sandy, he was also my Sunday School teacher and how I loved seeing him and Sister Waibel when I would come home to Columbus to spend time with my mom and go to Golden Fellowship. The last time I was there Brother Waibel was the guest speaker, I remember telling him how after all these years I was so excited to hear him speak! To his three beautiful daughters he left behind, please accept my deepest sympathy, treasure your memories of both your mom and dad.
