Ann Rainone Obituary

RAINONE (POTENZA) Ann Macioce Potenza Rainone, age 87. Born April 11, 1924. Graduate of St. Mary's High School, 1942. Longtime Member of St. Ladislas Church. Member of Saints Peter and Paul Mission Guild. Member of Santa Maria Ladies Lodge. An Amazing Gardener and Baker, and An Avid Animal Lover. Preceded in death by husband Domenic Rainone, brothers Daniel Macioce, Frank Macioce, Dominic Macioce, and Augie Macioce, sister Mary Sabatino, daughter-in-law Nancy Potenza, great-grandchildren Jeremyl Potenza and Amber Potenza. Survived by sister, Josephine Bourgeois; sons, Anthony Potenza and Larry (Trisha) Potenza; grandson, Anthony P. Potenza; great-grandsons, Anthony (Kassie) Potenza, Austin Monaco, Leighton Monaco, Christian Potenza; great-granddaughters, Ashley Potenza and Sara Potenza; great-great-grandsons, Landon Potenza and Preston Potenza; many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at THE MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High Street, where service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial Franklin Hills Memory Garden. My deepest sympathies to the family. I am so sorry I missed the service for my Aunt Annie. She was a very special lady and I know my mother loved her very much too and they were very close. I was out of the country with my sons and unable to be there. My prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy for your loss of Ann. She was a special part of "our" family as well as a dear friend. She was one of the most special, thoughtful, considerate, generous and loving people I have ever met. I will never forget her, she will always have a special place in my heart.
