Anthony Mannon "Tony" Delgado

DELGADO Anthony Mannon "Tony" Delgado, age 35, of Columbus, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born in El Paso, TX on October 21, 1971, to Raul and Suzanne (Barnes) Delgado. He married Jennifer L. "Jenny" Mercer on September 25, 1999. Also surviving are three daughters, Olivia Helena, Isabella Elizabeth and Sophia Grace, all at home; mother, Suzanne Delgado of Lima; father, Raul (Martha) Delgado of El Paso, TX; three brothers, Vincent "Rene" (Monica) Delgado of LaRue, Fernando Miguel (Julianna Arguelles) Delgado and Albert Raul Delgado of Henderson, NV; and mother and father-in-law, Jack and Mary Mercer. He was a 1989 graduate of Lima Shawnee High School; he then received his Associates Degree, BA in Criminal Justice (with honors), and his MBA (with honors) all from the University of Findlay. Tony was employed by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections as a STG Investigative Coordinator. At one time Tony held the honor of the youngest Major within the Ohio Prison System. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benefit of his three precious daughters in care of the funeral home.
