Anthony, I remember meeting you for the first time at Devonshire a year after we had moved to Columbus from Cincinnati and you had became friends with my son Ronald in the 4th grade. You had this smile on your face when you first met him as though you two had been friends for as long as you two had been born. I was so excited that he had met such good friends like you and Troy. You two had shown him so much love then and even as the years has pass you still considered Ronald as your little brother because he was so much smaller than you and Troy. Being that Ronald is the only child you and Troy had been his big brothers since he first met you two and would tell anyone that in a heart beat. Ronald misses you so much that he just can't get the words out to say. This was a "big shock" to him to know that a friend a brother he knew and loved since 4th grade had been taken from him on this earth for ever. Your "Unc" Ronald as you call him misses you as well. He remember speaking with you a month ago during spring break and you asking him to sell you his car. If you only knew how very much he and I love you as though you were our son. You and Troy have touched our hearts so much that every since meeting you two we have called you two our son's. We will always love you and never ever forget that lovely smile. I'm going to miss cooking you something to eat. You know how I love feeding you and Troy.
Debra, I can't imagine what you are going through at this moment without our lovely angel. I loved him so much that it hurts everyday not knowing he is safe and walking around with that smile as I have always seen you have on your face. You've raised a remarkable and wonderful child. Please remember that everyone who came in contact with your children was blessed to be apart of their lives because they were and are very special young men. My heart goes out to Anthony's family and the brighter days are yet to come. I've known Anthony since freshman year at Beechcroft and I have to say that he is the most laid-back person I've ever met. I've had a class with Anthony every year since freshmen year and nothing about him has changed. He was always a cool person to talk to and work with, and when I needed help with my "jumper" he was always there to help me. Anthony will be greatly missed and not forgotten.

I know that this was unexpected, but we will get through this. He is now in a better place and does not have to struggle any more in this world. I first met Anothony when he moved into the neighborhood in fourth grade. We attended the same elementary school, rode the same bus,and both were associated with the Mifflin Sharks. We hung out from time to time in the neighborhood and would reminisce a lot about the crazy things we did as kids. Growing up with him and all of our other peers gave me many memories to look back on and cherish. Even though driving past his house and not seeing him sitting in the driveway might be hard to get used to, I will always be grateful that I had the chance to maintain a close friendship with such a wonderful person.

Vonnie sent an email to share the news about Anthony. You have been in my thoughts and prayers every since. I'm in Minneapolis but I am a representative of the family in Bassett, Virginia. As many of us who know and cherish the bond of family love, know that we are thinking and praying for your strength as you begin the process of loving your child in a very different way. He is not gone too far and the loving memories of his life here on earth will help sustain you now and forever. My mother Mary transitioned not too long ago and I believe she and all those who have gone on before us, including uncle Bubbie and Grandma Cordie, have welcomed and embraced Anthony. Hopefully, you will find some comfort in knowing that he is in the best of care. Wish we could be there with you to hug you but if not now, maybe in the near future when we come together again as a family re-united.

i knew Anthony since right before we went to middle school together. we played on the same basketball team and had at least one class together every year all the way up to our senior year in high school. the teachers would always sit us beside eachother because of our last names and he would always imbrace me with a "sup, juju bean?". i can honesty say that anthony was one of the most intelligent individuals i ever met. you could learn so much sitting down and having a conversation with anthony, and that is something i will truley miss. rest in peace Anthony, i will remember you with everything i do, forever.

I really don't know what to say cause I'm still in shock. I just don't understand why?? Anthony was a funny, cool, and a real person. To my big homey Ant a.k.a FRESH!!! He was a respected young man as you can tell by all of the love he recieved. It is hard to understand why God only allowed him this short time to affect everyone's life, but he was a hood angel for all of us going through it. He would always give before he recieved anything and i love him. He helped me buy my first car and now that he is gone i call it Big homey fresh because i always called him big homey. We also worked at Alliance Data together he gave me a ride to work everyday because he always looked out for his little sis and i always told him thank you but i just wish i could have explained how much i really appreciated him. He was always there with no questions asked. I keep his mom in my prayers and the rest of his family and close friends we will never forget our hood angel! I LOVE YOU ANT!!!

I just wanted to take time and say that the Morgan family is in my prayers. I know Anthony was not my family but he was a really close friend and it is killing me to know that he is gone. I love him and i miss him sooooooooo much but i know he is in a better place and he is looking down at all of us. He was one of the nices people I have ever talked to. I know Ill see him someday. We watched Anthony grow up through Northeast Rec. basketball games from age 5 to his teenage years and today there is a sadness in our hearts. I just wanted to cstop by and express my feelings to the family of anthony. I dont understand how it feels to lose a son or a cousin but annthony was a great friend and i just wanted to let everyone know that we are all here for you in your times of need and we will keep Anthony in our prayers for eternity.

Ant was a good friend of mine and Im sorry to here his lost, I remember just seing him a week ago before he was going to work, and ketching up with him from not seeing him for awile. We used to hang out all the time and chill in front of his house and talk bout everything, it herts me to see him go like this becuase he was a cool and lay back guy to be around. My condolences to the family for a very unfortunate loss. Anthony was loved by the staff at Beechcroft High School. Ms. Morgan, you did a fantastic job in raising a mannerable, intelligent, friendly son. He will be greatly missed as his kind are few and far between.
