1933 - 2018
Armando Falasca, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Kobacker House surrounded by his family. Armando retired from The Ohio State University and was a member and usher at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He was known around his neighborhood as "the" gardner, enjoyed playing the accordion and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents Sabatino and Rosa (Valerio) Falasca, his sister Silvia Valerio and his son Erik Falasca. He is survived by his wife, Elva; daughters, Tina (Tom) Kistner and Mia (Brian) Gentile; daughter-in-law, Oana Falasca; grandchildren, Roman, Gia, Nate and Calina; and nephew, Roberto Valerio. His family will receive friends (today) Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road (Marble Cliff). Rev. Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Presider. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are preferred to either Kobacker House, 800 McDonnell Drive, Columbus (43214) or Our Lady of Victory Parish, 1559 Roxbury Road, Columbus (43212). Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
