I found out just last night about Ashley's untimely death. What a tragic loss for your family! I immediately called James in Chicago and will show Brenda her obituary today when I see her to celebrate her birthday.
I remember how we enjoyed sitting together to watch James wrestle and Ashley play basketball. She was such a special and talented young lady. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My husband, Jimmy, and I just met Ashley the weekend of June 15th this year. What a great girl! She made a lot of new friends that weekend. She learned how to ride a motorcycle! She played in some motorcycle games and WON 2 or 3 of them! What a good time we all had! My heart just breaks for her boyfriend, Tyler. He's been a close friend of my kids for as long as I can remember. Another son, you'd say! My heart goes out to her family and her kids, as well. What an awful thing this was to hear. She was such a joy and I was truly blessed to have had the chance to meet and spend time with her. May God bless you all. Keep her memory alive in your hearts and in her children's, don't let them forget. Know that God is always with you. Tyler ... if you need anything, please call or stop by. Josh & Sam feel the same way, don't hesitate to call ... anytime. Love you!

Stevens family...Ashley played basketball with our daughter Emily and was coached at WGAA by Emily's dad (Todd). We are sorry for you loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ash...I love u girl n will always miss u. When I first heard my boyfriend say people are sayin r.I.p ashley stevens I was shock and prayin an hopein it was a different person I said no its not her so I looked at ur facebook page and everyone was writein it. I still didn't want to believe it so when I seen the news I started cryin when I heard what happen. It just seems unreal this is so crazy. Ash we were always close. I still have the pictures from our school trip to nashville we had so much fun. Stayin in the hotel was fun! I got pics from ur 14th bday party we always had tons of fun. You always made me happy, smile when I was said, cry because I was laughin so hard. I still got ur high school pics u gave me on ur 9th grade one u said 2melissa love ash logan I love u bunches! I cried so hard when I seen that. It broke my heart and to know ur gone now it brakes my heart even more. Your gone now but u will never be forgotten. I'll always remember you. You were the best person in the world. Watch over ur babies,parents,sissy and ur entire family and friends just kno everyone loves u sooo much and miss u like crazzzy. Tammy,Scott,Angel;..I'm so sorry for ur loss she was truely an angel. I know she was ur world and ment everything to u but just kno she's told me before she passed away that she has always felt the same way about u guys. Ashley I was glad to have had the chance to meet you and have had you in my life. I remember you always coming to my sisters big 4th of July party and all you and your cousins would dance and sing and just have a really great time.
