You and your family have my thoughts and prayers during these difficult days. I will never forget the unfailing support that Barbara extended to me when we were all members of New Horizon church. She was a strong and gracious person. Her life was a true blessing to all she met.

Arielle and I were blessed through the numerous ministries and fellowship with you all at New Horizon UMC. Keep the faith! My prayers and love to the family of this kind hearted, loving, compassionate, vibrant and sacrificial woman of God who taught me at Calvin M. Woodward as my counselor that I could be anything in my life. She loved us and we loved her back for all she done for us at school. Her words of wisdom is beyond words and they will stick with me all of my life. I will truly miss cousin, Barbara. She was always there for me, especially through my difficult times always treating me as a son. I have so many fond memories of her that I will cherish forever. To Ronnie and the family, continue to trust in the Lord and he will see you through.

To the Swayne Family,
I was very saddened to learn of the passing of my dear cousing Barbara Louise. I have such fond memories of her when I would spend my summer vacations visiting my family in Bluefield, West Virginia. Barbara always provided the nurturing and guidance that was needed to keep me in line and on track, but not without a hug and letting me know that I was Loved. I looked up to her because she had it all looks, brains, and personality. Now when I think of her and all of her accomplishments, I say to myself that God wanted her to take her rightful seat in the Kingdom for her work here was completed.
Cousins, I cannot be with you physically, but know that I am with you spiritually. My cousin, Barbara Louise finished her race and is at eternal peace. May God keep you all and if we stay the course, we will see Barbara Louise again. Love you all.

My thoughts and sincere prayers go out to Kaja, Michael and the rest of the family during this time. I knew Mrs. Swayne because she was a counselor when I was a student at Rogers High School. It was quite shocking to hear of her passing when someone posted it on facebook. My heart goes out to all that were close to her. She will be truly missed.
