Basil Rowe Obituary

Rowe Basil A. Rowe, age 100, passed away October 24, 2016. Born November 7, 1915 to the late Rector and Eliza Lewis Rowe in Tariff, West Virginia. He retired from Jeffrey Manufacturing. A Veteran of U. S. Army WWII. Preceded in death by brother John A Rowe, sisters, Margaret Wright, Dorothy Taylor, Monsa Rowland. Survived by sisters, Wilma Stader, Ruby Knight, Ruth Dodd, and Arneda Combs; several nieces and nephews, including James R. Taylor. Graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery, Friday, October 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. Basil will be laid to rest in the Veteran Section. Family would like to acknowledge Brenda and Tim Henry for all their kindness and care, and thank Veterans Administration. Arrangements under the care of the O. R. WOODYARD CO. FUNERAL HOME. Family suggest Memorials in memory of Basil be directed to Capital City Hospice, 1650 Watermark Drive, Suite 180, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
