Bernard J. Auman

AUMAN Bernard J. Auman, age 79, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born to Elmer and Joy "Florede" Auman in Ft. Wayne, IN. Bernie served in the U.S. Navy, retired from Rockwell as an aeronautical engineer and was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church of New Albany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons Todd A. and Timothy J. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia Auman; grandson, A.J. (Angie) Auman; great-grandson, Jacob Todd Auman; brother, David Auman of Kissimmee, FL; sister, Jean (Art) Phillips of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister-in-law, Virginia Klopfenstein of Huntley, IL; brother-in-law, Bob Vetter of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter-in-law, Lori (Andy) Auman-Seymour; several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12Noon Saturday, July 15, 2006 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Charles Woodward, officiating.
