Like so many who have remembered Brian here, I met him when we worked together. Our friendship was immediate and very special to me; Brian was a mentor for me in so many ways. Though we had not spoken in almost three years, I will always think of him and the times we spent together lovingly. Thanks, Brian!

I met Brian when he moved to Cleveland in 1985. We shared alot of laughter, conversation, and great times. A few years later we parted never to see each other again. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and know Brian and his family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of sorrow.

Brian was a one of a kind person. He lived his life according to his own style and I give him kudos for that! Brian and I met on the shores of the Cuyahoga river at Shooters and we instantly bonded. I spent many a night on "uncle harry's couch' after we would be up all night talking about who knows what. Brian has left me with many great memories and he is forever in my heart. He is thought of often. Peace be with you on your new journey.

I know there are no words that can take the pain away. Just know that you are in our thought and prayers. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave foot prints on our hearts and we are never ever the same. I only met Brian once when he was visiting Lesley and right away he left a wonderful impression. I could tell he had a sense of humor and he had a very special bond with his nieces. I know he will always be missed. If there is anything you need just call.

Brian was one of a kind...sarcastic, conversational, bright, easy to be around, and ever-youthful in his demeanor and appearance. Although time has passed all too quickly since we last spent time together, I will always cherish our friendship. My thoughts are with his family...he will be fondly remembered and missed by many.

Brian was an important person in my life. Even though we spoke little these past few years, I thought of him often. We met at Club Isabella in Cleveland in 1988 (he was waiting tables, I was bartending) and became fast friends. I found him charming, funny, intelligent, and confounding. I only wish that he could have relinquished his privateness, just long enough to call to let me know what was going on.

I will miss him.

Brian was one of my best friends for many years. We lived and played together on Martha's Vineyard and I spent many a weekend at his charming Cleveland apt. Words can't say how much he will be missed. My condolences to all of you who knew and loved him. He was truly one of the greatest.
