Livng up the road from Candy, we would always see her drive by in her white Mustang, windows down, music up, and there was always her friendly smile and wave. It saddens me to know we won't ever see her again. I just spoke to her at Giant Eagle recently, and she was so excited to graduate. She had a wonderful future ahead of her. I pray that memories hold her family over until they meet again. RIP <3

Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to
She’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you.

A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here
And fills you with the feelings that she is always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safe within your heart

Sorry for your loss

May 19, 2010

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

I missed you for all those years and thats why i tryed to talk to you again and next thing i know sidney's calling me to tell me you passed away. I was in shock and still am. your funerals tomorrow and i'm going to say my goodbyes but i know its gonna finally hit me tomorrow. i'm gonna be a mess. we were best friends in 7th grade and i still have our best friends bracelet from the 7th grade trip to cincinnati. I'm so so so sorry for your family and i hope everything slowly gets better but i know its gonna be hard. you are an amazing person and you didn't deserve to be gone at such a young age. i love you and miss you. i really wish we could have been closer, like we was. i was looking on youtube to see how bad interstate 77 was and the drop off and it looks bad and i can only imagine how horrible that was. Sara, Boomer, I cannot grasp the pain you must be feeling. My thoughts are with you.

George L . Patrick

May 18, 2010

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Candy had the most beautiful smile and had just such a sweet and kind way about her. She was just such a special person in EVERY way. She was the type of daughter I wish was I was lucky enough to have. I know that we all know how extremely fortunate we were to have her in our life, which makes it even harder to comprehend her death. She was such a precious addition to our family and our family will never be the same.
