Not sure if my sister ever posted this on here of Casey. This was 1992. I´m guessing he was about 5 here. Such a great kid. My dad and his mom Sandy dated for many years. He met Sandy when she was pregnant or had just had Casey. He was our "step brother" for many years growing up. I never knew what happened to him (or sandy) once my dad and Sandy split. I would try to google him with no luck. Here´s to a fun kid I still think about all the time that had to grow up too quickly. RIP Casey Lee! You are missed.

"Casey Lee!" remembering calling your name with my mom. Your name has such a cute ring to it. I would sing it with a southern twang or something. Or your mom and my dad always calling you "Bubba." With those cute little freckles, sandy hair, and that raspy voice of yours.
I think back to the child Casey. Unfortunately, I did not know the adult. All these childhood memories with you keep racing through my mind.
Congratulations on graduating high school, becoming a daddy, and owning your own business - half of these things I have yet to accomplish and I am six years your senior. I am proud of you and happy that you got to do these things before your life was stolen from you.
I have tried to look you up numerous times throughout the years. I am deeply saddened this is how I get to reconnect - stunned beyond belief. I would always have these images of you and wondering what you were like and what you were up to.
We are all very sad here - my parents and my sister. Our hearts ache. I can only imagine how your girlfriend and mom are feeling right now.

Very sorry to hear about Casey, the last time I saw you must been when you were 7 or 8 years old. Casey is a sweet boy who had to fend for him self at an early age. Casey was very smart; I took him shopping the last time I was with him. Casey knew all his sizes for clothes & shoes. Casey only wanted me to buy what he really needed.
We will all miss that smile and I to hope that you are in your Grandma’s arms, she loved you so much.

Crap, why does things like this make people realize the importance of what we should of done, or the things we should say to that person(s)? I have not talk to homies in a long time, but we all know that we will always have an internal, everlasting friendship that goes beyond texting, calling, or IM. The terrible thing is he was a great person, and even more so of a father. He never put hisself first; always tried to look after others even when he don't have too.
