Cecil Odell Nunnally

NUNNALLY Cecil Odell Nunnally, aka Daddy, Dad-Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Mr. Cecil, Big Guy, and Buddy, April 5, 1923 - June 10, 2008. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years, Betty Nunnally. Survived by children, Susan (Mark) Lilly, Sharon (Randy) Stonerock, Cynthia Bellenbaum, Kathleen (Matt) Morbitzer, and Andrew Nunnally; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jonathan Lilly, Brock (Holly) and Alynn Stonerock, Sharyl "Boomerang" (Derek) Goodburn, Melissa and Josh Bellenbaum, Amanda and Kristen Morbitzer; great-grandchildren, Dayton Bellenbaum, Marissa Brault, and Audriana Rodarte; and his brother, Paul (Eva) Nunnally; and good family friend, Trent Spangler. For the last five years, Cecil resided at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Randy and Sharon Cecilia Stonerock. He was our constant companion, confidant, and story teller. Cecil was a joy to have around. He always had a good one-liner and great wit. He had an amazing life and loved his family greatly. Cecil was a kind and tender-hearted man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Daddy asked Jesus into his heart on December 5, 2007. He is present with the Lord and watching over his family who loves him so much. "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Gardens.
