Charles Feucht Obituary

Feucht, Charles Albert "Bud"
1944 - 2018
Charles Albert (Bud) Feucht, 74, fell asleep in death suddenly on Friday, September 14; 2018.Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Fredrick Feucht and Marie Emma (Stimpfle) Feucht and grandson, Timothy Cole Duchin. Bud is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Nanette (Ollam) Feucht, and children, Steve (Ann) Feucht, Wendy (Chris) Osborne, Rachel (Greg) Stormont, Timothy (Shannon) Feucht, Leah (Aaron) Casto, Christopher Feucht and three sisters, Betty, Mary and Patty. Bud dearly loved his grandchildren, Mallory, Eric, Cole, Gennar, Spencer, Lexi, Mia, Brooke, Ciera, Dylan, Cash and great granddaughter, Darby. Bud was a dedicated servant of Jehovah God for 49 years and faithfully attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Columbus, Ohio until his death. Bud graduated from Groveport Madison High School in 1962. Bud became a member of the Ohio Carpenters Union in 1963 until he started his own business, Feucht Construction, in 1985. Bud partially retired in 2009 but being a "Master Craftsman", he could never put his tools down full-time. Working was like breathing for Bud, even if it was just mowing his lawn or cleaning his tools. Bud's lifetime highlight was being involved in the "Kingdom Hall Building Work" of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was involved in the construction of several Kingdom Halls and had the privilege of helping with the expansion project at the Jehovah's Witness World Headquarters in Warwick, New York. Bud found joy in his family and friends and loved collecting Case knives and vintage tools. Growing his own garden made him especially proud. He loved a good bonfire with his family and trips down memory lane always made him laugh. He always saw the good in others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kind nature and lovable personality drew people to him instantly. Bud will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive visitors at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus Street Grove City, Ohio, on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 1-3 pm and 5-8 pm. Memorial service will be held Friday September 21, 2018, at 7 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1401 Brown Road, Columbus, Ohio 43223. Family will be available at 6 pm prior to service, to visit with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jehovah's Witness Worldwide Preaching Work at JW.ORG. A year has gone by already. I have thought of Bud from time to time. So many of our spiritual warriors have fallen in this system. May we all keep up the good fight until we welcome them back. Looking forward to seeing Bud coming up the road with his tool-belt ready to build again.

Our hearts go out to Bud's family. This was truly shockingly sad news.I know how much Bud's family loved him and from the number of condolences, many, many others loved him too. Words cannot express our sadness, and I am sure it pales in comparison to yours. Jehovah is the God Bud loved and trusted, and Jehovah won't let him or you down. When the time comes for all the wrongs to be righted, and all the tragedies in the history of man to be undone, including this one, I have no doubt that we will again see Bud using his skills to help someone build their home. Please accept our most sincere condolences. John & Faye Tewell

Thanks to all from the bottom of my heart. My Father will be missed, but we will forever have all of the memories. Yesterday's gathering to remember Pop reminded me more of a party than a tipical funeral visitation. That is exactly what my Father would have wanted. Thanks again to all that made that happen.

Truely a special person! A positive influence on many lives including mine. Thank you for sharing your husband/father/grandfather with me even for the short time I got to know him. He always made me want to be a better person - I will never forget his strong and capable but gentle way.

Bud was one of the kindest, giving and moral men that we had the honor and privilege of calling our friend. Sending our prayers to all his family and friends. Rest in peace Bud, you will be missed, but leave behind the fondest of memories.
