Chestinea Stoops Obituary

STOOPS Chestinea Stoops, age 57, passed away at home on Friday, March 6, 2009. Chestinea's children and grandchildren were her life. She loved everything about being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was selfless and devoted in taking care of others. Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Raymond W. Stoops, mother Elwanda Sparks, sister Mary Hendershot-Sparks, father Chester V. Sparks and niece Nicole Sparks. Survived by her daughters, Katrina Stoops (Kevin Sullivan), Tabitha Stoops-Ramey (Johnny Hopper), and son-in-law, Bradley Ramey; grandchildren, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and Jaden; brothers, Watha "Steve" (Letha) Sparks, Danny Sparks and Christopher (Phyllis) Sparks; niece, Joslyn; nephews, JR and Josh; numerous other nieces and nephews, cousin and friend, Jonnie Vaught. Funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Interment Sunset Cemetery. To send condolences to the family visit www.schoedinger.com.

Tabbi and Family
Iam sorry to hear about your mom...She was a heck of a woman and a trooper..boy I can remember her and her voicing her thoughts as if it was yesterday..Iam sadden about her death but please remember every death is another angel..Mom will be amazing angel lookin down at you and your family as she was amazing woman providing for her family she will be miss sadly..
