All I know is my mom and Aunt Maxine were close as two sisters can be ~ always looked out for one another, traveled together, joined activities, raised their children together. This has been the hardest and longest week ever. I miss you Aunt Maxine. I love you and will miss seeing you. Thank you for the endless prayers you prayed to and for me. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. Our family will go on but it will be different...not seeing your smile, hearing your laughter, enjoying the family, fussing (cause you know you were right.) I love you always. My tears are falling because I won't see you again (not on this side) but by and by. You set an example in loving, accepting and praying for everyone. No more pain, worries, surgeries, medications just resting in the bosom of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ. In my heart I believe this verse describes my beloved Aunt, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8. To God be the glory.
