Dan R. DeGarmo

DeGARMO Dan R. DeGarmo, age 52, Sunday, February 20, 2005, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a three year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Survived by wife, Suzanne, of 32 years; son, Shane (Julie), daughter, Abby, both of Columbus; mother, Nancy of Newark, Ohio; brothers, Brian and Mark (Michele), both of Newark, Ohio; and several nephews. Employed by Ashland Chemical as a research scientist for 32 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Erik Pioro and his staff at the Cleveland Clinic; family physician Dr. Dale Michalak; colleagues and friends at Ashland Chemical; brothers from the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity; and to all family and friends for their support. In lieu of a traditional funeral service, a celebration to honor Dan's life will be held at a later date.
