My deepest sympathy to the Cress family & to Tim. Dan was passionate about the role the United Methodist church should play in helping those impacted by HIV/AIDS, AIDS education & its ministry & was an advocate in many ways. His dedication & love for his mother was well known & I'm sure will be sorely missed.

May my heart felt prayer be with you at your time of grief. This pass October, I too lost my husband, Herbert, to a sudden heart attack. Dan was there for me. The journey before you will not be easy, but in time you will smile again. Just the thinking of Dan and Herbie looking down on us from Heaven brings a smile to my lips. Thank you for allowing me to share Dan's strong spirit.

To The Family,
Dan made many contributions to the ministry of human, spiritual and social recognition of those who are living with HIV and AIDS. His holy boldness assisted the West Ohio Conference in forging ahead and developing a sensitivity which continues to develop and evolve--Dan made many contributions to this purpose. May the comfort of Jesus Christ continue to be with you during this period. Dan's contributions will always be remembered and appreciated.
