Ms. Darlene Mae Bradley, 79, of Westerville, Ohio, was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence. She was born October 21, 1939 in Gettysburg, PA to Raymond and Miriam (Harbaugh) Plank. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Malia Faith Thomas. Survived by daughter, Ginger (Bradley) Thomas and son-in-law, Adam Thomas; grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth, Dalton Christopher, Kaylee Summer, Hannah Kimberly, Isabella Grace, Seth Michael Steven, Sophia Hope and Kaleb Samuel; great-granddaughter, Harper May Hix; love of her life and companion of 30 years, Thomas Hyatt; and her beloved dog, Cheech. Darlene served active duty in the USAF followed by a career of 30 years at the Defense Supply Center in Columbus. Mom, you have given me so much and asked for so little in return. Thank you for always being there for us, for teaching us, listening to us, helping and forgiving us, loving us, and always paving the way for us. We will work hard to reach the standard you set. We will forever remember all the joy and laughter we had together. We loved your open-mindedness and your ability to create art, making our surroundings more beautiful. We will miss your loving voice, kind heart, and your encouragement through all the difficult times of life. We will love you forever. You were magnificent. Friends may call Friday, February 15 from 5-7 p.m. at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
