Dad,
Almost 2 years later and it still feels like yesterday. We all miss you so much. I reread all the entries here - soooo many people knew and loved you and was touched by you. I hope I can be more like you.
I hate that my girls didn't get to meet you but I am thankful you knew Savannah was coming - I'll never forget our lunch toghether when I told you about her!

Hey Dad,
It's coming up on a year since you died and I am still so heartbroken that you are gone. Every day that goes by- I miss you even more. I know you wouldn't want us to be so sad but see, you are a really great guy and we love you so much. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew David through the Delaware County Chapter of the American Red Cross. I first met David in 1995. He was so soft spoken and shy like. He taught classes in CPR/First Aid for his employer and he volunteered when he could. Through the next 15 years I knew how important David's family was to him. You were his world and his reason for getting up in the morning. He will be sadly missed but I feel blessed to have had the chance to work with him over those years. Please find some sense of peace in knowing he sits in heaven waiting to hold you.
God bless your family and hold on to that day you will be joined together again.

I feel your loss and I pray for comfort to you. As kids growing up time seemed as though it stood still and then as adults we loose track of time. The found memories of family reunions were great but seemed to fade but then facebook brought the reunion back. I miss all of you, wish peace for you, comfort in this time of need, and loving thoughts for all of my family. I am sad for the loss of this family member, father, husband, son, and great man. He will never be forgotten in this family.
