David Rinker Obituary

RINKER David "Mark" L. Rinker, born May 15, 1937, in Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008. Mark attended Bucyrus High School and Parson School of Interior Design. Professionally Mark, an ASID member, was an accomplished interior designer based in Columbus, Ohio at Centner's Interior Design for 30 years and later with Interiors by Mark. His national portfolio included residential and commercial interiors as well as yachts and private jets, several of which were featured in various publications throughout his career. Philanthropic activities include: YMCA Camp Wilson, Aids Task Force of Central Ohio, The Columbus Foundation and Nationwide Children's Hospital. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Luella M. Rinker and his friend and partner Theodore R. Magnuson. He is survived by his sister, Sallie J. Voyles; and his niece, Rachael J. Voyles. Friends are invited to join the families of Mark Rinker and Ted Magnuson on Sunday, July 13, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. in celebration of their spirits. This reception is being hosted in the private party room at One Miranova Place…please join us for this occasion. I am so sorry to know that David died, even though we are family it is sad we never stayed in touch. I just learned of his death. I did not know that he was even ill. I am so full of sadness. We were cousins!
