David Schneider Obituary

SCHNEIDER David A. Schneider, born August 8, 1957, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio at the age of 53. David attended school at St. Catharine (1963-1971), graduated from St. Charles in 1975 and attended The Ohio State University. Dave was previously employed at Franklin Art Glass Studio, followed by various glass companies through The Columbus Local Union 372, and most recently with Retail Storefront Group out of Leeds, AL until his battle with throat cancer finally took his life. David was preceded in death by his mother Rita Gehring Schneider, and his mother-in-law Gail Morris. David is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Karin; children, Rachel, Garrett and Jordan; father, Edmund; sister, Barbara Sabo; brothers, Michael and Stephen; father-in-law, Stanley Morris; in-laws, Jeff (Louise), Vickie, Glenn, Sandy, Keith (Tarah) Morris. Friends may call Sunday, 2-5 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 S. Gould Rd. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Schneider Children Education, C/O, Egan-Ryan, 403 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, I do know his brother Mike very well. As with all brothers, the wonderful qualities and characteristics are similar in each one.
