They laid you to rest yesterday,
but it is still not the end,
For our hearts are still heavy,
and the pain will never end,
For our love is forever,
not just yesterday.

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

Death has came as a friend and not as an enemy, too loose a tired soul from sickness and pain. The has spoken and called His child home to rest forever more. Nothing happens unless it is the will of God. Family know that God has His hands on this family and He will see you through this. Victoria, keep the faith and your eye on the sparrow, God will comfort you in this time of sorrow for He knows your pain and will give you peace, look towards the hills and God will continue too guide your footsteps. God Bless!!

Aunt Della was a very special aunt sent from Heaven. There are relatives you are born with and some that are specially placed in your life by God. She was a caring aunt and the best Sista-Friend my mother could ever have. Aunt Della was always encouraging weather I was going off to college or off to military duty. She always let me know she loved me. She will truly be missed!

God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never,
Get well on Earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace by Thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
