Earl Edward Wall Sr. His family announces with great sadness his passing on Friday, December 14, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Earl was born on July 6, 1929, in Lucasville, OH. He was the son of Clara Lorena Sizemore and William Franklin Johnson and a stepson of Norman Dan Wall. He married Arlene Sammet, Sept. 2, 1950. He was a member of the Local 200 Carpenters and Joiners Union, as well as a Cabinet Maker by Trade. Additionally, he worked for Curtiss-Wright for the War Effort. Earl enjoyed many activities like fishing and Camping, but hunting was his favorite. He was an avid traveler in 48 states, and several countries. Earl was a fantastic storyteller, he loved his family and instilled a strong work ethic into his children and grandchildren. He was a generous man with a huge heart and many, many friends. He is survived by his siblings Wanda Long, Mary Alice Welsh, Dorothy Justus, Linda Brokaw, Zella Cox, and Kenneth Wall. His children Earl (Jim) Jr. (Barbara) Wall, Steven (Lindsey) Wall, Connie (Tarry) Summers, and Mark (Janet) Wall. His grandchildren: Craig, Earl, and Jason Wall; Steven Wall Jr, Megan Goodson; Kara Gibbs, Tarry Summers II; Melissa Allmandinger, Rachel Wall. And lastly, his great-grandchildren Jordan Bobst; Earl IV, Alex, and Eston Wall; Magdalena and Sydney Wall; Naomi, Aria, and Parker Bobst; Taylor, Kylee, and Devon Wall; Aubrey and Dominic Goodson; Kaylee, Emilee, Ashlee Garren, and Isabella Gibbs; and Adelai Allmandinger. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Norman Wall, and his wife Arlene M. (Sammet) Wall. Friends may call at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm and Thursday 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Pastor Jay Schlenker officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery. To Earls family- Ty and I were very fortunate to have known him for several years. He was the sweetest man! I love how he instilled all the things he did for anyone he was around! I don't think there is anyone who could say a bad word about him! Losses are always hard but the holidays seem to make it even more so! Your family get togethers are huge and this year will be hard.
