Elizabeth McCoy Flaker

FLAKER Elizabeth McCoy Flaker, age 94, formerly of Columbus, passed on peacefully at SpringMeade Nursing Center, Tipp City, Ohio, on May 27, 2006. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Wise and husband, Chuck of Troy, Ohio; sister, Wilma Edwards of Columbus, Ohio; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee of 65 years, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She was a member of Linden United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the United Methodist Women, the Wesleyan Class, Deborah Circle and Happy Elders. She also was a member of the NorEast Women's Club, Triangle Chapter No. 592 of the Eastern Star and DAR. Friends may call on the family at BAIRD FUNERAL HOME, Troy, Oh., Wednesday, May 30, from 4-7 p.m. Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 1, at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy First United Methodist Church or Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373.
