Elizabeth A. Wimer, age 84, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her son's residence in Columbus Indiana. She was born December 21, 1933 in Jackson to the late Dennis and Lucia (Randall) Fouty. She is survived by her son, Sam (Mary) Wimer, of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Steve (Lynn) Keller and several other grandchildren; great grandchildren, Debbie and Steven Keller and several other great grandchildren; great great granddaughter, Brinlee and several others. Also surviving are special nephews, Dennis Grimmett and Chuck (Trish) Grimmett and Miles Johnson and several other nieces and nephews; brothers, Robert Fouty, Bud (Donna) Fouty and Russell Fouty; and sister, Karline Colley and numerous other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Wimer; sisters, Ellen Marlow and Margaret Johnson; brothers, Junior Fouty and Sanford Fouty; and great nephew, Samuel Johnson. She was retired from H&R Block in Chillicothe. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, music and traveling. She loved and enjoyed living on the family farm in Ray. Friends may call Monday, March 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
