Ella Wortman Obituary

WORTMAN (Dillon) Ella Mae (Dillon) Wortman, age 94, loving Mother and Grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a life long resident of Columbus. Mae was also a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star; serving as Worthy Matron of University Chapter #463 and currently a member of Worthington Chapter #287. She was preceded in death by her husbands Thomas H. Dillon and Robert Wortman, daughter Betty J. Miller and son-in-law Fred Williams. Her survivors include her children, Thomas H. (Judy) Dillon, Jr. and Bonnie J. Williams; grandchildren, Thomas G. (Kelli) Dillon, Lisa A. (Gary) VanderLind, Laura M (Nicholas) Johnson, Leslie S. (Chance) Witzel, Wendy K. Williams and Keith Miller; nine great- grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 with Rev. Lynda Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to either the Ohio Eastern Star Home, 1451 Gambier Rd., Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 or the Spina Bifida Association at www.spinabifidaassociation.org.
