Forest Baughman Obituary

BAUGHMAN Forest Richard Baughman, age 83, peacefully went home to God on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. A veteran of WWII having served with the US Marine Corps. A 50 year Member of Eastgate Lodge# 603 (currently Sunrise Lodge # 783) F&AM. Retired Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service. Former Police Officer, employed with the Franklin Co. Sheriff's Department and Columbus Police Department. Member of the Senior Centers of Columbus, he enjoyed wood working. An avid music lover and Ball Room Dancer at the Downtown Dance Clubs in the Olivedale Senior Citizens Center. Preceded in death by his wife Nancye Baughman, parents Forest and Goldie Baughman, siblings Harold, Walter, Ruth and Mary, special companion JoEllen Scheitlin. Survived by his children, Kevin (Missy) Baughman, Thomas J. Lomas, Robert A. Lomas and Lori L. Lomas; grandchildren, Nancye and Cory Baughman; siblings, Mildred Shields, Velma Jean Pierce, Betty Ann Green and Charles E. Baughman and their families; special nephew, Bob (Mary) Baughman. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will at the funeral home 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Interment Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield Medical Center, Attn. Palliative Care, 401 N. Ewing St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Please email condolences to www. schoedinger.com.
