Frances Murray

MURRAY Frances Murray, age 96, of Adrian, MI, formerly of Westerville, November 12, 2010. Former real estate agent and she also owned and operated Fran's Sewing Center in Westerville from 1962 until she retired in 1979. Member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church for over 80 years and was a founding member of the Team Mates Sunday school class and also sang in the choir. Frances enjoyed playing bridge, golf, traveling and photography. Her collection of bird photos is outstanding. Survived by her children, John (Barbara) Murray of Monroe, MI, James (Judy) Murray of Tucson, AZ, Carol (Leslee Engler) Murray of Hilo, HI; daughter-in-law, Judy Murray of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Perley of Westerville, OH. Preceded in death by her parents William Wilbur and Gladys (Hughes) Edwards, husband Charles F. Murray, son Charles B. Murray, brothers Benner, Connell and Richard Edwards, sister Evelyn Bale. Graveside service will be held at Otterbein Cemetery, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. followed by visitation at Church of the Messiah U.M., 51 N. State Street, Westerville, from 12Noon-1 p.m. and Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Arrangements by MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville, OH.
