Hey Frankie Pitts., As each day goes by you would think that the pain of your leaving us would become less but it doesn't. You are MISSED just as much as if it was on the very first day.

Now that the Funeral is over all the flowers have come, family has come and gone the fact that you are not here still lingers on. Despite the fact that I am sad that you are gone from your earthly body I know that you are with your Savior, whom you surely loved. You used to call me a tree because I stood even in the midst of a storm and you knew how many depend on me but I now call you my Angel. You will be sincerely missed by me but never forgotten. First of all my heart hurts for my children: God blessed your Dad and I with 3 beautiful children; Tekisha(deceased), Alisha & Buddy(Frank Jr.)
During our time together, I learned a lot from him and came to know and love the entire Pitts Familly of which I express my sincerest condolences to each brother, sister, step-father, aunt, nieces and nephews. I am thankful to God that Frankie got a chance to have a relationship with all of his children and grandchildren. May the memories live on in your hearts because that's worth more than gold. Even though Frankie and I lost contact with each other after high school graduation I will never forget the fun we had together growing up in Columbus, Ohio. I've been knowing Frankie since jr. high and through high school. Frankie was cool with me and a good friend. We sometimes ran the streets of Columbus together. I last saw him a few years ago and he looked very much the same as always. I was surprised to see his name and likeness in the Dispatch obituary. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Alonzo called me today about Frankie's homegoing. My love and prayers surround all his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. My memories go back to 1968 when he was in the Neighborhood Youth Corps. I rejoice that he is with Jesus. I love you, my sweet friend, Fran.
