My heartfelt prayers are with you all. I worked with Gary off and on for about 20 years and considered him one of the best friends any one could ever have. I just found out today about his illness and passing and am so sorry that I could not be there to be a friend and to pay my respects. Rest in His peace knowing you will be together again. God bless you all.

I worked with Gary at the Huntington Bank. Not only was he a great guy to work with, he became a wonderful friend! There are so many stories I could share, but as for the one that stands out the most, Mary Krieger already covered it!
Kim, when we attended you and Gary's wedding, I knew he found true happiness with his soulmate. Although we lost contact over the past few years, I think of your family often. Please accept our heartfelt sorrow and sympathy. We know your faith and love will get you through this difficult time. God Bless.

Gary was a wonderful person, compassionate about his family and friends, he lit up the room with his smile and twinkle in his eyes. He will be sadly missed by his fellow workmates of Roxainne's and Oberer's Flowers.

Gary was a banking competitor of mine for many years in Grove City. We shared the same dedication to our customers and always helped one another when needed. There wasn't a single time that Gary didn't come to my aid when I needed assistance. He was a loyal banker, dedicated family man, and a true gentleman. We will all miss this great man.

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family at this difficult time.

To Gary's Entire Family,

Our family moved to Grove City in 1973 and as our four children started to become adults and each had a job, they wanted to have their own checking and savings accounts, loans for cars, etc. We had been Huntington Bank customers for many years so we took them to the bank on Hoover Rd. As the years passed, we all got to know Gary and he, us. He treated each of our children with kindness, professionalism and sincerity. They never hesitated to call him and as they moved on in life, he never failed to inquire of us, their parents, as to how they were getting along. Of course, to parents and grandparents,it was so impressive that he really remembered what each of them were doing at that time of their lives. Whether one was in college, one had a new job, one was getting married, one had blessed us with another grandchild or one had moved out of state because of a promotion, he remembered it. He told us he was happy for that particular child at the time and always showed that he was interested. Gary never failed to call back when we had questions regarding a transaction. He was so knowledgeable and we trusted him as being an honest man. When he told us that he was to be married 10 years ago, we were as happy for him as he was to tell us. Over the years, people become accustomed to having the same person there when you visit any hometown business. They become a friend in the community. Almost all our friends here in Grove City who banked at the Huntington, knew and liked Gary. Even if we were with another banker that day, Gary spoke to us and was genuinely interested. Gary was always there and so when he left, everyone really missed him. We offer our very deepest sympathy to all his loved ones. May God Bless all of you and help you through these difficult days and months ahead.
