Genevieve Ann Lumannick

LUMANNICK Genevieve Ann Lumannick, age 89, of Canal Winchester, formerly of Maple Heights, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Born March 22, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Julian and Alexandra (Nowacki) Grabowski; she is also preceded in death by beloved husband "Charles" Basil Lumannick in 1984 and brother Marion Grabowski. Genevieve was a member of the former Wenceslas Parish in Maple Heights, and attended Seton Parish Catholic Church in Pickerington, Ohio. She was a member of the United Food & Commercial Workers' Union, #1880, Cleveland. Survived by sons, Gary (Mary) Lumannick, Miami, FL. and Allan (M. Colleen) Lumannick, Canal Winchester, OH; granddaughters, Jennie (Darren) Cook, Marysville, OH. and Laura Lumannick, Miami, FL; sisters, Rita Pennza, Akron, OH. and Kay Marunowski, Texas; nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. North (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, OH. 43147, where a vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Rd. North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 with the Rev. Fr. Jim Klima, Celebrant. Graveside committal and interment will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at All Saints Cemetery, 480 Highland Rd., Northfield, Ohio 44067.
