CLANCY Georgia Lee Triffon Clancy, 55, wife of Thomas F. Clancy, left her home and family for the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2009. Surviving are her husband, Tom Clancy; daughter, Nicole Roberts of Columbus, Oh.; grandson, Seth Roberts; mother, Betty Karki of Hilton Head Island; and brother, Dr. Douglas Triffon of La Jolla, Calif. While on Hilton Head she worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Bobby McBride. She was active in Long Cove Club tennis and the Long Cove Club yacht club. She was a faithful communicant and active volunteer at Central Church on Hilton Head Island. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Central Church, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Central Church, 975 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, S.C., 29928 or the charity of your choice. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Georgia fought a long and hard battle and is at peace.

I met Georgia at Dr. McBride's in 1999. She was always full of life and smiling. We had some good times at the Hilton listening to the Headliners!

Sincerely,
Helen L. Goldman

Tom and Family... Bubba and I both loved Georgia... she was such an inspiration to me with her struggle from Cancer... Georgia, Cheryl, and Patty were my real hero's..
After learning of my breast cancer... her words of encouragement and her faith made me strong. I know God put her in my path for that very reason... She was a light in my life, even for a short time, and I know she knew I loved her. I will always remember her courage and smile and energy! She was so faithful to the church and her belief's... such a blessing to all.

Tom, your strength and courage to stay close to her and be strong for her, was such a blessing also. You are very much admired for your faith, hope, and ability to take care of two wonderful women who had this terrible illiness...Bubba and I and many others admire you and want you to know we love you and are there for you, whenever you may need a friend or a shoulder to lean on. Anything we can do for you, just let us know...
Guess she will carry on her angel work up there in heaven, just like she did here on earth... our love to you, Jennie and Jofy "Bubba" Moore, Hilton Head, SC... your friends in Christ...

Tom, Hutch and I were so very saddened with the news of Georgia's passing. Although we met her only for a few brief occasions, we fell in love with her. She was so beautiful inside as well as outside. Wish we could be there on HHI for her memorial service and celebration of life.

Tom,
We will miss Georgia, but as you know, when she closed her eyes on earth she
opened them in Heaven in Gods presents. That was Georgia's ultimate goal for herself and all of us.
We Love You, and hope to see you soon.
