I will never forget the smile in your twinkling eyes the last time I was able to visit you. Your eyes spoke far beyond any words possibly could. I am so happy to have had such a wonderful parting. I promise I will take care of Erin. Until the next time we meet again, please keep watching over all of us. We all need a warm smile sometimes.

Tony, David and Erin,

Grace always had a smile on her face and true compassion for everyone she came in contact with. If we all had this same characteristic there truly would be peace on Earth.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of one of the kindest, sweetest and most loving persons who I have ever met. A smile on her face always, she brought joy to many and was very sincere in her efforts! I'll always rememeber our early morn race, me drawing labs and her doing vs to see who would get the job done quickest, she always won. I was blessed to work with her. She adored her family and spoke of you with admiration. We are so lucky to have known her. All my love to her family, my heart goes out to you. She was an ANGEL and is now forever.

Erin,
Our hearts go out to you and your family. Oh how I wish I knew your Mom better. As I read the thoughts people shared it is easy to see how much she touched people's lives. I remember as Jeremy and I watched your parents hold each other on the dance floor at your and Alan's wedding, Jeremy said "That's love." It was beautiful to watch. May we all experience love like that. Much love to you and Alan and your family.

Tony and family, words can not truly express the sorrow I feel for your loss, Gracie was a warm, kind, friendly, gentle person. She was full of love, her life has had a great influence on us all. Tony I know you will miss her you all have been together for a long time, ( I loved your wedding picture the one at the Ohio State Fair)It says it all about your love and committment. I know you have heard this many many times, but it is so true, Gracie is in a better place she is in God's loving arms, all the pain she suffered is gone she is free. Our faith in God is what we must all hold on to in these trying times. The bible says "weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning". When you get a chance re-read Psalm 23 I pray it will give you some peace and the strenght to carry on. Take care Tony give my love to the family. My prayer are with you all. God Bless you.

Tony, David & Erin. I can't begin to tell you how shocked I was when learning of Grace's illness and then her passing. I have many memories of her commitment and compassion for taking care of Mary. She enabled Mary to die with dignity. I was so grateful she passed on to her next life the same way. In a sense I feel she beat ALS before it took everything away from her. She was named as she lived...Grace. I have this image of Mary swooping down from Heaven and the two of them running hand in hand, laughing, and singing praises to their God. No more walkers, canes, bi-paps and communication boards. God's healing love embracing and welcoming her to His Kingdom.

The love she had for her family was evident by the way she left all of you. Shielding you from any additional burden. She loved and protected you all so much. I felt so priviledged to witness such love and compassion each time I entered your home. Thank-you for sharing Grace with me.

John 11 vs 25. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die."

My last visit w/ Grace..I remember her arms signally a hug in front of her. That hug will always feed my soul. Tammy, HomeReach Hospice

I used to know Gracie many years ago as a fellow Gallipolitan and friend of Joyce Askew. I remember how she and Tony got married at the State Fair. Tony, my thoughts are with you, and though I haven't seen you for a long time, I remember what a nice guy you were. I wish you only the best during this very difficult time.
