Gregory Scheck Obituary
Gregory C. Scheck died unexpectedly in Jamestown, New York on November 13, 2017. He was 62. He graduated and went on to earn a Masters degree in Economics from Ohio University. Greg worked for the Ohio Public Utilities Commission as a Utilities Specialist for 32 years. He officiated for several sports. Greg is survived by his mother, Marlene Scheck; 2 sisters, Roxane and Carla, and brother, Chris, his wife, Avis; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Bethany, his daughter Annie; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on December 2, 2017 at The Scriptural Study Center, located at 4595 Wyandotte Dr., Columbus, OH 43230. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Scriptural Study Groups, P.O. Box 29125, Columbus, OH 43229.

My deepest condolences. We took the basketball class together 20 years ago and have officiated many games together over the years. Greg was my varsity partner the past 6/7 years. He was a very good friend. So sorry for your lost.

I am so sorry to hear about Greg's passing. I have known Greg for many years as out paths crossed on and off in our work on energy issues. I always appreciated Greg's candor and willingness to share his thoughts. He was easy to talk to and forthright in expressing his views. Greg was just a really good person. He will be missed by many.
